To ensure the quality of healthcare for the physically active in the state of Delaware.

To advance the profession of Athletic Training through education and research.

To provide quality continuing education for the membership.

To safeguard and advance the interest of its membership.

The Athletic Trainer Service Award recognizes NATA members for their contributions to the athletic training profession and the association. Although this is a national honor, local, state and district service is the focus of this award.

Examples of activities that are considered are:
  1. State and district participation and leadership
  2. Service to the athletic training profession at the state and local levels
  3. Community volunteerism at the state and local levels
  4. Grassroots public relations, including presentations, building awareness and education

Qualifications:
  1. Candidates must have a minimum of fifteen years as a certified member of the NATA in good standing.
  2. Hall of Fame members and Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer Award recipients are ineligible for nomination.
