Scholarship Application

The DATA is proud to offer scholarships to students who are interested in pursuing a career in Athletic Training. To be eligible for consideration, an applicant shall:

Distinguish one's self academically.
Must maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher
Must be a full time student:
Undergraduate – Athletic Training Education Program
Entry Level Athletic Training Graduate program
Graduate Athletic Training Program
Graduate Degree Program (Closely related to athletic training and must be a Certified Athletic Trainer working in the field)

Perform with distinction as a member of the Athletic Training Education Program or as a member of the athletic training profession.
The degree of the student’s athletic training clinical achievement shall be weighed at least equally with the degree of their academic performance.

Signify an intention to pursue the profession of athletic training as a means of livelihood.

Must be a current member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association at the time of application.

Applicant must be either:
Attending college in the State of Delaware
A resident of the State of Delaware

Applicant must have a letter of recommendation from a supervising Athletic Trainer.
